Cure for Cabin Fever

The progress on the Tom Hoy Competition Pool is amazing, even with the cold weather we had earlier this month.  The weather forecast for Saturday, January 27, 2018, is a nice one, so get out of the house, and come over to Kanawha to see the pool for yourself.  Please come in from the parking lot, and you will need to stay behind the construction barriers, but you will have a great view.  Also, if you have new neighbors who are looking for a pool or neighbors who've been in the area for a while, but aren't KRA members, bring them along to show them the facility.  We can all get our minds off of snow and ice on the ground and start thinking about snow cones and ice-cold limeades.

Remember that dues for 2018 must be paid by March 15, 2018.  Download the Dues Statement from www.krarva.org, fill it out, and mail it with your check to the mailing address at the top of the form.  If you pay by electronic check, please send in the form, and note on it that an electronic check is coming.  If you think you now qualify for honorary membership status, please contact either Martha Hodges or Deborah Proffitt to verify that.

If your teenagers are planning to apply for a job at Kanawha (lifeguard, gatekeeper, or groundskeeper), those applications are due by February 1.  Go to www.krarva.org, and click on About Us, then Employment, and you will find all the information you need and the application form.  Applications for snack bar workers will be taken at a later date.
