Fitness Opportunities for Adults

Early Bird Swim begins Wednesday, May 31.  The lap pool is open from 5:45AM to 8:AM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings for lap swimming only.  There is a one-time fee of $20.00, payable the first time you come.  This is for people who want to swim on their own.

The coached masters workouts will begin on June 19, but that group is full and has a waiting list.  There might be openings in August, though.  People who have paid for masters may come to swim on their own during Early Bird from May 31 through June 16, without an extra fee.

In past years we have had a Deep Water Water Aerobics class, and there has been some interest in getting that going again this year.  The class would meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning on June 20 and ending July 27 (no class on June 22, due to Ladies' Night), from 6:30 to 7:30PM.  We need at least 10 people to sign up for this class, but they do not all need to be members.  Members would get first priority, but if we don't get 10 members, we will allow non-members to join the class, for a slightly higher fee.  The class is held in the dive well, so capacity is 18.  The fee for members would be $50.00 and for non-members would be $65.00.  Please contact Martha Hodges (martha.b.hodges@gmail.com) if you are interested.  If you know of a non-member who is interest, please give that person's name, too, so that we can get an accurate count.
