Dear KRA Members:
The weather has teased us with several wonderful spring-like days to enjoy the appearance of jonquils and tulips as we walk around the block to reintroduce ourselves to our neighbors and friends, also emerging from their winter hibernations. Kanawha remains a cornerstone of where we live and the focus of where we play. We hope that you will renew your membership to join your neighbors and friends for KRA’s 2017 activities and traditions.
In continuing with the last, now, six years and as promised at our Annual Meeting, there will be no increase in dues!
The KRA Board, Committee Members and Pool Management have been working throughout the winter to advance the design for KRA’s proposed eight-lane competition pool. Preliminary plans will be made available in the very near future for review. We are committed to initiating construction at the end of the 2017 pool season to be open for the 2018 swim season. Recent announcements regarding the tennis program seek to continue to develop KRA’s tennis program and add to our winning traditions at all levels of competition.
The Board is establishing our annual spring cleanup day, which is a great opportunity to meet people and help prepare KRA for the upcoming summer season. More information will be coming. Also, mark your calendars for the Opening Night Party on Friday, May 26th, the Hot Dog Party on Saturday, May 27th and the ever popular Ladies Night Thursday, June 22nd! We are looking forward to the upcoming season!
We see many new faces in the neighborhood and hope that you will reach out to our newest neighbors and invite them to join KRA.

If you pay by electronic check, please return the form and note on it that an electronic check will be coming. Dues must be paid by March 21, 2017.
